1. Ornament exchange with sweet friends
2. Hot apple cider
3. A fun gift from a dear friend--a composition book (a cute one, no less!) and a Starbucks gift card, so I could, as she called it, get "coffeed-up" and then sit and write.
4. Playing hide-and-seek with a 3-year-old; she gets so excited anticipating the seeking that she counts "1. . .2. . .10 ready or not here I come!"
5. feeling energized at 7:30 am
I would post some pictures of the ornaments and the fun gift from a friend--but it's late and sleep is calling. . . until tomorrow. . .
